Setting Up an Older Analog TV
If your television is an older analog set, don’t worry, you can still use your Movie Box!
Our Movie Box uses an HDMI cable to connect to newer televisions. But older analog TVs don’t have HDMI receptacles – they use RCA cables. If you don’t already have an RCA cable for your analog TV, you’ll need to retrofit it by making several additional inexpensive purchases.
First, you’ll need an RCA Audio Visual Composite Cable. You can purchase this cable on sites like Amazon.com. To order one now, click here.
RCA cables have three separate plugs – one with a yellow band, one with a white band, and one with a red band. Simply match up the color on each RCA cable with the matching colored receptacles on your Movie Box.
Second, you’ll need a converter box, to go between your Movie Box and your analog TV. Contact me at the phone number on the top of this page for price information – it’s much cheaper than buying a new TV!
Then sit back and enjoy watching!
